MANTHAN 2018: CULTURAL FIESTA

Bhavan’s B.P Vidya Mandir Koradi recently witnessed their maiden Cultural extravaganza Manthan with enthusiastic students, parents, prominent and noble personalities in the school premises. The grand event was a churning of thoughts, ideas, team work, coordination, talent, hard work, perseverance, leadership and creativity.

The cultural celebration commenced by welcoming the esteemed chief guest Dr. Deepak Khirwadkar, Director SCZCC, Nagpur, Dignitaries Dr. Smt. Sunanda Sonarikar, Secretary, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Nagpur Kendra, Shri K.M. Agrawal, Treasurer, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Nagpur Kendra, Prof. Q. H. Jeevaji, Executive committee member, Nagpur Kendra, Dr. Sujit Ghosh, Parent representative, Bhavan’s B. P. Vidya Mandir, Koradi, Smt. Dipali Khirwadkar and Smt. Rashida Jeevaji. The Chief Guest Dr. Khirwadkar addressed the students and the august gathering by his golden words. He encouraged the students and advised the parents to judge the interest of the child and not to force them to be versatile in all fields but continue striving to learn. The first day marked the Bal Bhavanites where the moppets showcased an array of acts comprising of Shades of Unity, Saath ki Gath, Beats Razzmatazz, Nukkad Natak and many more performances which showcased their wide talent. The next two days, the Vidya Mandir squad followed the competitive format wherein the four houses Lily, Daffodil, Lotus and Jasmine took part in the inter house competitions and performed on the Invocation Dances, Zonal Group Songs, Street Play on social theme, English Play, Folk dances and Unique items, Musical Spectacle  Jugalbandi amongst the blooming musicians on Tabla, Keyboard and Kathak Dancers alongside their Gurus was presented on the concluding day. Parents and guests had a glint of pride in their eyes as they watched the entertaining performances of the young students. The judges who graced the occasion were Shri Madan Pande, Dr. Sangeeta Nayak and Dr. Parag Ghonge. The Overall winner’s trophy was clinched by the Lotus House whereas Lily House were declared the runners-up. The event was made successful under the devoted leadership of the Principal ma’am Ms. Sarbani Bose, support of the Management and the dedicated Teaching and Non-teaching staff.
